Leverage the Power Players - How to Get the Most Out of "Being the Least"

Global Domains and any other network affiliate program, company or corporation will always have heavy-hitters. These are the guys who are getting the awards, the commendations and the big bonus checks. Considering they usually make up somewhere around 1% of the total population of any given operation, it's understandable that some folks get jealous or frustrated with their own performance. First thing I have to say about that is, "Don't get down on yourself because you're not there yet. Everything comes with time and maybe it just isn't your time yet." Next thing I have to say is even more profound: "Don't get mad, get even."

See, there ARE people making a boatload of money off of you no matter WHERE you go. Every time you go out and get Pringles, there's some dude running that corporation, sitting on his yacht eating caviar because you paid 5 or 6 bucks for something that he was able to mass produce for cents or MAYBE a dollar. That goes for EVERY industry and EVERY product.

So what makes internet marketing different?

Two big things - first, you get to SEE the person who's making the money off of your happy lil' butt. That means that even if you don't like that you have to pay for someone to get rich, at least you'll know who that guy is, for better or for worse. Secondly, internet marketing is a duplicatable system, so when other people are making buku money because you got involved with their team, it's usually because there's someone that THEY paid all THEIR money to for a long enough period of time until they got noticed by the general crowd and began making THEIR big money on... well... us.

So, if you know who's getting your money then you kinda become the consumer of your own boss. Which is cool. I like to know who I'm listening to and paying. Also, you're paying this guy because you joined the network under him. He's been in it longer and he knows more about how to get the program jump-started towards profits. He'll do everything he can to make your system like his own, (in that it'll be profitable) because when you profit, HE profits even more! So this is what I've found to be the best scenario.

If you've got a leaderboard on your system, like with GDI, you can see who the top ranking guy is at all times. You can also get a feel for position 2 and 3. If you have the funds to do it, a GREAT idea is joining the program with two seperate accounts (if it's allowed) under teams of both the number one guy and the number 2 or 3 guy (shoot for whoever you think is going to listen to your concerns). When you've got two super-human marketers that you're working with, you get all access to the tips and tricks from BOTH and you can develop a middle ground strategy that doesn't step on anyone's feet while also finding out which individual between the two is really working towards your success. Generally whoever helps you the most will be the person that yeilds the better results from your marketing efforts. Sometimes though, money makes all the difference. Some uplines have even been known to buy leads for their downlines that haven't filled their level 1 with anybody. This could be because the person paying for the leads will still get paid on referrals you bring in. For example, if I have a guy in my upline, three levels up, if I bring in 20 people on a level 1 basis then that's 20 more people in my upline's 5th level deep. So long as they still get paid for those joining, there's still a vested interest in investing.

Internet Business... You Choose.

So let this be a lesson to all entrepreneurs out there who are interested in branching out on the internet. If you've been doing business via a brick-and-mortar location using paper files for decades and calling the tough ones on your own, internet business will be a BREEZE for you. Get to it while you can, but be sure to click the title of this post for more information.

For those of you who are starting or interested in business ventures, let it be known that running a business is TOUGH work. If you have, oh... say, company cars, you would need special business insurance, you'd need to maintain registration on those vehicles, you'd need to make sure that all of your drivers are licensed and able to perform the duties of driving, you'd need to get business insurance itself, you'd need to do a price/earnings ratio for all of your products to determine whether your overhead has been paid for over the projected repayment term, you'd have to arrange payroll, you'd need to pay taxes on all the wages you paid, you'd need to file those taxes quarterly and a NUMBER of other little things that you may or may not think of all at once.

Not to say it's impossible, it's a great way to make a living. However, a lot of people are put off by having to remember a lot of things that they're not used to. If you're that guy, GDI is great for you. Why? Because all you need to do in order to be eligible for pay on the LEGAL scale of things, is submit 4 documents. Two documents are provided by GDI directly through the site and the other two are your license and a W-9 form so the great team at GDI can set up your taxes. After that, you're ON LIKE DONKEY KONG.

Also, think about the cost of a traditional business: you need start up investment and you need a lot of human resources. With GDI, we all agree to be affiliates. That means we work and we work hard at first, knowing that any future affiliates in our business will work hard also, which in turn will result in a larger and more successful business of our own. It's like a company: there'll be a few people who tag around and not do much, there'll be the usual workers and there'll be a few shining stars. If you're one to work hard though, the legwork you do will prove invaluable to you on the long term scale whereas with a traditional business, if you sell a burger on day one you never get paid for that burger again. It's sold and it's gone. GDI pays you repeatedly, month by month, on even the first recruitments, domain sales, etc. that you make.

That is why GDI is my choice for internet business versus traditional business.

That being said, take a look at your base pay from your job. Have you been receiving the pay checks on a biweekly basis that cover living expenses and that's about it? Hey - that's awesome. Keep up with it - sustaining bills is important! However, if you yearn for a day where you don't have to pour ice into the soda machine to earn your cash, or for a day where you don't have to deal with the shenanigans of a dozen crazy employees then check out GDI. It's part-time work and with time and effort it will pay out a full-time income every two weeks, JUST FOR THE WORK YOU'VE DONE IN THE PAST. There's no hourly here - it's like dumping one grain of sand on a ball field on the first day you start working and then DOUBLING the number of grains you dump each day. Why Earn Through GDI?

Searching for ways to make money online became somewhat of a hobby for me. Faint, glowing screen radiance would beam against my baggy eyelids after hours of hapless surfing. On more than one occasion I would find myself sitting and aimlessly searching Google for free, quick and easy ways that I could make more money.

I don't really know what I was looking for: ideally I think I was hoping for a way to click a link and have a dollar or two magically appear in my account after a few minutes. Not the kind of "opportunity" like Depacco which has video footage on YouTube proving it to be a scam... I really wanted the type of opportunity that would actually work. One where I could get the money added to a Paypal account. Immediately after my successful completion of a "point" and a "click"... and maybe a "wait"...

Under a year ago I happened upon a site called the SpiderWeb Marketing program. It was claimed as free and I said, "Hey! Maybe this is what I was looking for!" So, I joined. It was, indeed free. That is, the system was free. The affiliate links that it promotes have upgrade options. Also, the biggest earner in the system is GDI (Global Domains International) which has a 10 dollar a month charge for domain services on the .ws extension. Believe me, I wasn't pleased. I figured that it'd be worth it though so I went with it. To my surprise, it actually produced some results.

After six months with GDI on SpiderWeb, (3 of which had been totally useless as I had lost my job, I didn't pay my monthly dues and half of the people who were interested left because I wasn't there for them) I had established a downline of six people. A lot of people would say, "six? that's PEANUTS!" However, you have to consider WHAT I was doing to get those six people...

Absolutely nothing.

When I mean I did nothing I DO mean I did nothing. For three [3] solid months, I wasn't even IN GDI. I couldn't be because I wasn't paying the monthly cost because I lost my job. So. If I had 6 people for doing ZIP half the time, then there's no reason why I can't establish a working downline working part-time. I feel the same about you, whoever you are, so if you're looking for a way to earn online, this just may be your ticket.

Now everyone asks, "Why GDI?" It's a programmed response. When you go into a job interview it's important for you to ask what you're going to get out of the company. Who accepts a job without knowing what duties they'd be performing OR how much they're going to get paid? Not many people. So, inherently, when looking for a work-at-home opportunity it makes sense to ask, "why your company and not someone elses?" That's why this post is online. To answer, "Why GDI?"

GDI offers a massive income opportunity. You get ten percent of the dues that everyone you recruit pays. Generally the dues are 10 dollars a month per person. So, you get a dollar per person every month they're a paying member. At this point you may be saying, "I can't live on a few dollars a month smart-allec..." AND... you're right. That's where the multiplication factor comes in.

Say you get three people in your ogranization the first month. Whoopy, you got 3 dollars that month. Now say you get 3 more people the next month, but two of your current members bring in another person too. Now you brought in six people and from your first downline you have two second level downlines. That totals 8 people. So, you went from 3 in the first month to 8 in the second. Now lets say you have a slow month. You bring in one person. However, since you have 8 people, say three people bring in another person. Now you've got 12 people in the third month. In the fourth month you have a blow out. You bring in 4 people and six out of the twelve people bring in others. A few bring in two people and a few bring in one person. So, you've got 13 new members in one month. That more than DOUBLES your downline. What was 12 is now 25 and now it's time for something entirely different...

If 1/5th of those 25 people bring in one person each month, at the end of the year you'll be making 81 dollars a month on auto-pilot. Just because you started a part-time home business, you're making 81 dollars a month, EVERY MONTH on the work of everyone else who joined you.

Ok. Now here's where it gets fun. In that second year, you decide to do some work for a change, (you lazy bum, you...) so you bring in 2 people a month. Let's say NONE of those people bring in anyone that whole year. All they're doing is learning the ropes, (which probably won't be the case). Still though, you've got 81 people working part-time with you. Of those 81 people, ONE - TENTH of them bring in an average of ONE [1] person a month, (it's a slow year... kinda). That would mean that your people brought you 96 new members in that year.

You brought in 24... So... 81. Plus 96. Plus 24. That equals 201 dollars a month EVERY MONTH in the second year of doing this.

Now you're working on the part-time income level! What's even better about this is now, you've got so many people that you're hitting the leaderboards for bringing in 5 people in a week every once in a while. That's 100 dollar bonus, paid for the payperiod of the month of the week that you bring those people in. Say you hit the leaderboards three weeks out of 52. You also bring in one person a month every month for the third year, AND... One FIFTEENTH of your people bring in one person a month. Because of your people, you're making 362 more dollars monthly on top of the 201 you made before, so for year 4 you're making 563 a month AND you earned 300 dollars in bonus money. That's 7,056 dollars if NOTHING happened that entire 4th year. Again. That's probably not going to happen. In any case, you see how this can earn you money. I'm also being very, VERY mean and stingy about the figures.

To give you an example of the BEST case scenario, there's a guy named Tissa that works the leaderboards of GDI EVERY WEEK by getting over 50 people in his organization a week directly through his own referral power. None of the signups that his downline get count towards his bonuses. Just think of how much he makes when a third of the people he has brought in over the past year bring in just two people a month... At 52 weeks a year, bringing in 50 people a week... That's 2,600 dollars on auto-pilot just from the people he brought in. Now if 1/3rd of his FIRST level downline bring in 2 people... That's another 1,733 dollars a month.

OK? So, if you were wondering if this works or not, think of Tissa. Tissa is CONSERVATIVELY making $4,333 a month on auto-pilot, WITHOUT BONUSES. Now, every week he gets 1,000 dollars for bringing in 50 people every week. So. That's another 52,000 dollars yearly. That means that he makes $4,333 residually based on the number of people in his organization... BUT... he also makes $4,333 (literally just a coincidence that the numbers are exactly the same) in bonus money for bringing in high multiples of 5 people each week.

When this all boils out, good old Tis' is making $8,666 dollars a month because he sponsors people like CRAZY. Do I expect you to be like Tissa? No. Would that be AWESOME? If so, then BE LIKE TISSA! I won't stop you! LOL.

Be as much as you can be with this system. The beauty is that it pays you based upon your performance AND it pays you residually.

I know this post was a lot of number crunching but for those that read through, I'm sure that you're understanding how GDI earns you money a bit better than you had before.

It all starts small. What was 3 signups was over 7,000 by the end of 4 VERY conservative years. Let's all remember one thing too - we just spent 8 years of conservative bullion and we're now approaching 4 glorious years of liberal spread.

A Quick Word on Phone Etiquette

There are few things that I enjoy less than sitting down in an office chair and having a list of calls to make when all the names, numbers and data I have are all unfamiliar. Despite my feelings about cold calling, it is an essential part of business that we all must become familiar with to establish a higher degree of success in both our professional interactions with clients as well as our general communication with others.

A call to a lead for Global Domains is NOT a sales call. You don't have to sell anything to your premium leads because they've already viewed the presentation video. You're simply doing two things by calling them: first you are affirming that they saw the video in its entirety and second you are asking if they are still interested. If you've joined GDI and haven't seen the "GDI Step by Step Wealth Guide" then you aught to invest the time to read the 14 page manual that GDI provides to all of their back office affiliates. Note that there are some great follow-up procedures that you can learn by reading that manual. Also, there are some pieces that you are going to want to shrug off, for example, investing money into ordering DVD's when you can simply link to the video presentation using the internet. Point blank - your calls to your leads should be short, to the point and informal: they've already either tapped to fold or been sold on GDI. There is nothing you're going to do that will change their minds. Simply answer their questions according to the projections and facts that GDI provides and ask the critical question: "are you interested in joining my team?"

One thing that you can do to provide reassurance to people while not "selling" to them is being confident. You know all the answers are in the video. Make sure you find out if they've watched it entirely. This will be a filter on who's serious and who isn't for you, off the bat. If they watched it all, they're probably serious. If they watched a few minutes then they're thinking about it but they're still not committed. Don't divulge too much information about the company over the phone - you have a presentation video so that people can get ALL the information DIRECTLY from the source. You are a representative of GDI: YOU ARE NOT THE COMPANY ITSELF! Many people make the mistake of "plugging" how great a system is when they could just as easily be themselves and let their leads make up their own minds. You provide them the resources and THEY are the ones that will make a decision. Don't risk saying a lot of things that don't speak loudly to your potential team-members while on the phone. Simply reply to their questions given the information you learned from the video and then reference them back to the video itself. They will get the idea and things will go much smoother for you.

Lastly, the phone is a more personal interaction with your potential team-members than sending an email. You have the opportunity to describe YOUR situation. Let them know why you decided to join GDI. Let them know about how you're working to help. By all means, let them know that this company provides a great service for a reasonable price and that if they don't join, someone else will. This will establish your position as the SUPPLIER of a great service rather than the CONSUMER of a great service. When you're a consumer, it's all about what you're getting. When you're a supplier, it's all about what you're providing. When you come off as a customer on the search for a downline you intend on making money on, you lose credibility. When you come off as a supplier of a world of knowledge, resources and value, you THEN become a powerful agent towards your own success.

Find Your Niche

Niche Marketing is an often asked about topic regarding search engine optimization. As defined for the ideal marketing conditions, a niche is a small area of internet space that is specific, targeted and available. For example:

A general topic may be business. If you were marketing your business it wouldn't be a great idea to establish a web presence based on the keyword of "business". The reason being, your listing would show up in the hundred-thousand range if not worse as a result of all afore-listed businesses that have higher hit counts, more back-links to other webpages and higher ratings on Alexa and Google (Search Engine Listing Companies).

So is your online business marketing sunk? No.

Say your business is in sheet metal. You could try "sheet metal business" as a keyword phrase.

Chances are you'll find fewer companies using "sheet metal" in their tags than those using "business". This increases your chances of reaching a #1 rank on Google.

You still may be facing the trouble of competition in getting that #1 spot though. Maybe a competitor in the sheet metal business has the top spot and won't give it up. To narrow even further, try something like "sheet metal small business" or if you're running a larger operation, use your demographic of exposure such as "local sheet metal business" or "national sheet metal business". This will bring your site to the front of the page ranking and thus, your niche would be NATIONAL SHEET METAL BUSINESS. Thus, your efforts should be to market a few things:

First - Your national presence.
Second - Your Sheet Metal Selection/ Your Specialization in Sheet Metal
Third - Your business (practices, background, certificates, affiliations, etc.)

Lastly, when working on a niche market, your goal is to get AS HIGH on the page ranking as you can for your Niche. Dominating a niche will bring your page ranking higher for more general keywords. For instance - if you dominate "national sheet metal business" and keep rank 1, you'll start showing higher on searches for anything "national" as well as anything "business".

A way to do this is to check for these factors when you begin your research by searching for your niche:

I. Look for keywords that bring up a total of around 300-400 results.

II. Make sure you're searching for the keyword IN PARENTHESES.

III. Be willing to compromise! If your sheet metal is known for its warranty but there are 40 pages listed with better warranties than yours, try a couple other aspects of your business that people may find JUST as good as what you've been known for in the past.

By finding a niche of your own you will be able to expand your GDI business more efficiently than if you'd work to establish within a keyword series such as "earn through GDI" or "earn thru GDI" as I have already begun building and establishing this niche. Take over a niche, build a bunch of links related to it and earn the first, second and third pages on Google results for your keyword phrase. That will make your top-level site exposed and ripe for viewing and conversions!

... 500 Mobsters on Myspace... People with Over 1,000 Friends? This Idea Has MERIT!

If you haven't taken the time to read the last blog - jump to the part where I'm talking about Mobsters and the ease of integration or relation between getting 500 Mobsters who each in turn have 10 other Mobsters in THEIR mobs to getting 500 contacts in GDI who all get 10 people in THEIR downlines...

Ok so I didn't realize QUITE what I had said until it sank in... I am 500 computer nerds away from being a very wealthy individual.

We all are, in fact. What's best about it is that you don't need to have the SUPER computer nerds who know how to program. All you need is the computer nerd who takes the time to grow in affiliate networks. It's the SAME work as GDI and they're not even getting paid for it... For less than a quarter of what most people pay for internet service these helpless trolls (myself included) have a legitimate business that works like a social networking tool that PAYS FOR ITSELF after 10 people join you AND makes you many, many, many, many dollars when you soup it up like a lot of people do through Mobsters, Heros and more just on Myspace alone.

Facebook is ridiculous too - I spent at least 10 hours a week working my way up to Dark Lord of the Sith on the Jedi vs. Sith application when it came out. I answered so much Star Wars trivia it made my eyes bleed.

What I'm getting at here is that for the same redundant and simple actions we take every day, we could be dedicating those simple, redundant actions to making a lot of money between us. So it's a Mob They Want, Eh?

As you can see at the website to my MySpace (Simply Click the Title of this Entry), there's a popular application there called "Mobsters". Apparently there are people with well over five hundred "mobster" buddies in their affiliate networks and in the game they've accrued trillions upon trillions of dollars... in pretend.

That's fine and dandy folks. As a matter of fact, I promote this type of activity at EVERY turn.

Wanna know why?

Because these folks are born internet marketers waiting to happen. They don't realize that potential that they have if they'd simply apply the same dedication to building a business and a downline as they apply towards getting "mobster" friends and establishing a mob empire. For example...

If I were to bring in 500 people to GDI who all stayed with the company and with me, earning progressively larger and larger checks each month, then I would have a five hundred dollar paycheck coming to me EVERY MONTH just from the people in my "mob".

If each of those people were to bring in ten people.... Well holy bananas guys... The GDI calculator is MEANT to explain this kinda thing so check it out at

especially if you don't believe me when I tell you that you'd be making close to sixty-seven MILLION dollars a year. Go. Check the math. That's a dollar for each person in your first level (500) and every person below you bringing 20 people in for five levels deep. You'd make close to seventy [70] MILLION dollars in a year.

That's $5,555,500 a month.

So if GDI only costs ten dollars a month... and there are people who establish 500 friends out of NOWHERE on mobsters within a year... It makes TOTAL sense to me for these guys and gals to chock up the ten a month and spread this system like they spread their mobs.

Could you imagine what it would be like to make over five million dollars a MONTH?! You could invariably buy islands. You'd be among the most highly paid people in the world in a matter of decades. You'd be able to buy FLEETS of airplanes. In all reasonability, you could pay top entertainers like Harrison Ford and John Travolta to perform theatrical episodes of the "Odd Couple" in your 10,000 square foot living room adorned with authentic Roman artifacts and 23 karat gold statues of YOURSELF.

Now that'd be pretty sweet.

Think about it this way too - you could become the greatest philanthopist of all time. You could personally finance the school system of an entire city and ensure that EVERY student in that city got into college. Your name would be written across every plaque of every building's entrance. There would be streets named after you.

Needless to say, you could do a LOT of things with that kind of money.

First and foremost being...

You'd have one HECKUVA computer to play Mobsters on and only the bangin-est LAN parties to play during.

Welcome to Earning through GDI

Hey there! First and foremost I want any of you that haven't seen the video yet to click on the title of this blog. You'll be redirected to a page that'll explain everything about GDI, how it works, what is possible through the company and more. So take a second to do that. Even if you've seen the video and are on the fence about joining our company, do yourself a favor and watch over it again. Just one quick look often doesn't do it justice.

Ok! Now that we're all on the same page, my name is Jason Mueller and I saw that video roughly four years ago. You know what I did after seeing that video? I exited the window, I chuckled to myself and I said, "income for life my foot..." and walked downstairs to have a sandwich. Well, now here I am four [4] years later with nothing to show for my distrust except an empty (or nearly empty) wallet.

Perhaps the most powerful thing about this video is that it has the ability to motivate people towards bettering their own lives and situations. People's lives and situations are often filled with things that aren't relevant. I know several people who work at jobs that they don't like JUST to get paid! Well, I can safely say that I enjoy your company, I love writing and I also get a kick out of seeing people join my GDI network! Since I saw that video four years ago, I've earned an Associate's Degree in Business. I bet though, had I started my own business before school, I would have been making more money without college than with it! Life is full of little ironies like these.

Most importantly I want to reiterate to you that it took me four years to come back to GDI to appreciate the income potential first hand. I didn't believe it: I'm sure that a lot of you don't. It is possible though. Brian, Tissa and James are all leaders on the GDI boards and I know first hand that they only got there in the short months that I've been a part of this company. Which means simply that they weren't the top earners before and they worked their way there. Also, the top earners before these three are still making money. They're earning off of their downlines which INCLUDE the current top earners. Had I started four years ago, I would have been four years ahead in networking, earning and creating. Instead I am starting now for the first time, all because I doubted the system.

What I intend on doing with this blog is hopefully reaching a wide audience base that is confused, skepitcal or interested in GDI so that they may make the most of what GDI has to offer them before they wind up like me - years down the road and not a penny to show for it! We all could use some more income for life so let's band together and start this internet crusade. Change in America is coming: is change coming to your living room, bedroom or computer room also?
